The Mailing Labels module is FREE with the purchase of the
System Manager module. It can maintain names in a mailing list as well as print customer,
vendor, employee and mailing list labels. Additionally, Sage BusinessWorks
can print part labels. Labels can be conveniently printed from the Mailing Label,
Order Entry, Inventory Control and Accounts Receivable modules.
General Features
- Label data and mailing list information can be exported using over 30
different formats including Lotus 1-2-3, dBASE, Comma-Separated Variable, ASCII, Access,
Excel, Word, Word Perfect, Quattro Pro and many others
- Vendors, customers, and employees within Sage BusinessWorks can be merged
into a mailing list
Mailing Lists
- Name information includes name, address, telephone, contact name,
comments and selection keys
- Organizes and categorizes names with the help of selection keys
- Mailing list information can be imported from a text file
Labels
- Maintains date added, last modified and last label information for
each name
- Label setup option positions all fields to print properly
- Prints both name labels (name, vendors, customers and/or employees)
and inventory labels (parts)
- User-defined text can be placed on labels
- Labels can be printed in order of ID or ZIP code
- Flexible label printing setup allows selection by ID, area code, ZIP
code, selection keys and dates
- Defaults the label setup based on a label type selected by the user
- Optionally prints ZIP code total label
